the beginning

Located in East Long Beach, the homeowner wanted to convert her yard into a native landscape designed to entertain. Drought tolerant plantings were incredibly important. The task was to create an immersive hosting space that is environmentally responsible.

The Transformation

Insitu concrete lounges and ipe decking flank a central firepit to create a sunken entertaining space. One of the deck’s conceals an ice box where the homeowner chills beverages.
